  1. 10, Maniacs' last hurrah (not including the post-Natalie Merchant material because they are simply not the same group without her, despite my having plenty of respect for Rob Buck and his bandmates as songwriters and musicians) is one of the best releases of the entire MTV Unplugged project-- probably second only to Nirvana's incredible performance/live album from the session.
  2. 'Unplugged' was the first 10, Maniacs album I ever heard, so I do have a bit of a soft spot for it. If you've never heard any of the band's music this is a pretty good sampler, in my opinion. Of course, the original album version of these track sound slightly different/5().
  3. I'm Not The Man [MTV Unplugged Version] Lyrics: (Merchant) / (bassoons: Kim Laskowski & Atsuko Sato) / It crawls on his back, won't ever let him be / Stares at the walls until the cinder.
  4. Jan 25,  · The five albums collected in this slipcased box -- The Wishing Chair, In My Tribe, Blind Man’s Zoo, Our Time in Eden, and MTV Unplugged-- capture 10, Maniacs' work during their Elektra years. to represents the group's most popular and creative peak, and this box is an easy, affordable way to get all the material from that era in one purchase.
  5. 10, Maniacs is an alternative rock band, formed in in Jamestown, New York, that has been active with various line-ups since that time. Their best known member is Natalie Merchant, who left the band in to pursue a solo career. 10, Maniacs have gone through a variety of musicians throughout the history of the ennaconfabadvadispilenmeahunbo.xyzinfo is a partial list of the past, present, and touring musicians.
  6. Hey Jack Kerouac [MTV Unplugged Version] Lyrics: (Robert Buck/Natalie Merchant) / Hey Jack Kerouac, I think of your mother / And the tears she cried, they were criedfor none other / Than her.
  7. A real enjoyable collection of tracks, many of which make you wonder about those acts which have been chosen for the entire unplugged CD routine. Neil Young, Eric Clapton, Maniacs, Bob Dylan, Tony Bennett, and Nirvana were all deserving/5(15).
  8. The track running times appear to be copied from the CD, which would work except that the CD is misprinted with incorrect running times for at least 3 tracks. "These Are Days" is ; "Eat for Two" is (the time assigned to "Days"), etc.
